Also known as: Sector Council Program
Provincial funding (Business, Mining, Trade and Job Creation) to sector organizations in key Manitoba industries so they can develop and deliver workforce training for new and existing employees. Funded sector councils identify skills and labour gaps, deliver short-term training for existing workers, support entrepreneurs to grow their business, advise post-secondary curriculum, and run school-to-work bridge training. Direct applicants are the sector organizations (e.g. Manitoba Aerospace, Bioscience Association Manitoba, Tech Manitoba, Food & Beverage Manitoba); employers access training through them rather than applying directly.
