Manitoba Export Development Program (EDP)

Also known as: Export Development Program

Cost-shared reimbursement (Economic Programs and Initiatives Branch) for Manitoba SMEs exhibiting at or attending trade shows and missions outside Manitoba, plus related market research and trade-preparedness training. For events beginning on or after November 24, 2025 the program reimburses up to 75% of eligible costs for exhibitors and up to 50% for attendees, to a maximum of $20,000 per project. Together with the Incoming Buyer Program it forms the Export Support Program, capped at $50,000 per company per fiscal year. Reimbursement is paid after costs are incurred (no advances). The 2026/27 program year covers events between April 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027, accepted on a rolling basis while program funds remain available.

Reimbursement grant (paid after the event against submitted receipts), not an advance. Applications are per-event and may be submitted for multiple events; each requires its own application.
