🚀 For Founders Aged 18–39
FEATURED
Up to $75,000 to Launch a Business, Before Your First Sale
Futurpreneur Canada — Core Startup Financing
💰 Up to $75,000 (up to $25,000 from Futurpreneur + up to $50,000 from BDC) + 2 years of mentorship
🗓 Ongoing — no application deadline
This is the go-to option for a founder whose business is too new for most provincial programs. Eligibility is a sales test, not an incorporation-date test — a pre-startup venture (first sales expected within months) or a business with under a year of significant sales both qualify, as long as there's a business plan and a 24-month cash flow forecast. The Futurpreneur portion is interest-only for the first year, at CIBC prime + 3% (capped at 9% if prime runs high); the BDC portion is priced separately by BDC.
Who qualifies: Founder aged 18–39 at application · majority ownership by the qualifying founder(s) · business plan + 24-month cash flow ready
👩‍💼 Three Lenders, One Federal Fund — For Women-Owned Startups
WeMB — Loans From $5,000 to $150,000, Manitoba-Based
Women's Enterprise Centre of Manitoba (WeMB)
💰 $5,000–$150,000
🗓 Ongoing — no application deadline
Manitoba's own women's business lender, with the widest loan range of the three below — useful if the amount you need falls outside WEOC's or DELIA's $50,000 ceiling. Also offers advisory, mentoring, and training regardless of funding stage, and can open doors to intersecting federal streams for visible-minority or equity-seeking women founders.
Who qualifies: Business 51%+ women-owned · operating or starting up in Manitoba · viable business plan for loan applications
WEOC National Loan Program — Up to $50,000, No Minimum Credit Score
Women's Enterprise Organizations of Canada (WEOC)
💰 Up to $50,000 · fixed rate, Prime + 4% or less · terms up to 5 years
🗓 Ongoing — no application deadline
Newly added to our catalog this week. A national delivery partner for the same federal Women Entrepreneurship Loan Fund as DELIA, with broad eligibility and no minimum credit score requirement. Covers start-up costs, working capital, equipment, and digital/e-commerce spend; funds can't be used for real property purchases, debt refinancing, owner salaries, or franchise fees. Early repayment allowed with no penalty.
Who qualifies: Applicant 19+, Canadian citizen or PR, residing in Canada · business over 50% women-owned · gross revenues under $2M · business plan with 2-year cash flow forecast
DELIA (Nventure) — Up to $50,000, Priority for Underserved Founders
DELIA Loan Program (Women Entrepreneurship Loan Fund)
💰 Up to $50,000 (typical approvals reported closer to $15,000) · Prime +2% to +4%, risk-rated
🗓 Ongoing — no application deadline
The third Manitoba-eligible lender under the same federal fund umbrella as WEOC. Nventure gives priority to diverse and underserved women entrepreneurs — Indigenous, rural/remote, racialized, newcomer, LGBTQ2, or disabled founders — though it's not a hard exclusion for others. Comes with concurrent mentoring and training alongside the loan.
Who qualifies: Business majority women-owned and women-operated, in Canada · start-up, stabilization, or expansion costs
GrantWright in action
Pre-revenue isn't a dead end — it's a different set of questions
A founder with no sales yet still has a real application to make: a business plan, a cash flow forecast, and a clear story of what the funding is for. GrantWright's intake is built to work from a single conversation whether the business has three years of financials or none at all — the same structured process, screened against each program's actual eligibility rules (including WeMB, WEOC, DELIA, and Futurpreneur above), drafts what can be drafted and flags what still needs the founder's input. Nothing goes into a client-facing document as fact unless it traces back to the conversation or the program's official page.
What this covers: Business plan structure, cash flow forecast scaffolding, and program-specific eligibility screening — for pre-revenue founders and established SMEs alike
Quality control: Every AI-drafted section is verified against the client conversation and the program's official page by a human consultant before it goes anywhere
Just starting out and not sure which of these fits?
